Why is the minimum 32 nights?
Local law in Barcelona requires a minimum of 32 nights for mid-term contracts. This gives you a real legal contract with full rights and the landlord operates without regulatory risk.
How does payment work?
You pay securely via Stripe — first month rent plus a refundable security deposit. Roomet holds your payment and only releases it to the host 24 hours after you confirm check-in is as described. Deposit returned within 14 days of checkout.
What is the cancellation policy?
In high season, cancelling 10+ days before arrival gives a full refund. If a host cancels on you, you always get 100% back plus compensation. The agent explains exact terms for your dates.
Can I extend my stay?
Yes — tell the agent at least 2 weeks before your end date. Extension is usually at the same rate, documented with a simple written addendum.
Do I need to speak Spanish?
No. The agent detects your language automatically and responds in it throughout. All contracts and guides are available in English.
Can couples book?
Yes — whole flat listings are one price covering both of you. No per-person surcharge. Tell the agent you are a couple and it will filter accordingly.
Is my money safe if something is wrong at check-in?
Yes. Payment is held by Roomet — not released to the host until 24h after you confirm check-in. If something does not match the listing, report it within 24 hours and we review before releasing any funds.
